If you could spend the day with one artist or craftsman (dead or alive) who would it be?

I would love to watch Auguste Rodin in his sculpture studio, especially when working on The Kiss. Or a day with Monet in the gardens at Giverny.

What handmade possession do you most cherish?

Any drawings or crafts from my nieces and nephew! Priceless keepsakes.

What’s your favorite city and why?

Paris has a special place in my heart since I had the chance to live there for several months. It’s a wonderful place to get lost wandering – so many hidden treasures just around the corner.

Tell us who you are and a bit about yourself.

Hi! When I’m not sewing cute clothes for bebes and kiddos you can find me walking the lake trail, watching a movie, or doing yoga. I’ve loved living in Austin for the last 8 years and California before that. My surf and cowboy sets are the most popular, inspired by my favorite states.

We know you create cute and awesome baby clothes, but what else do you like to do?

I love movies, both the classics and new. And of course I love to see live music in Austin. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, too.

Where does your inspiration come from?

I’m addicted to fabric! I love to pick out just the right fabrics for all the sweet items I make. It makes for a very bright and colorful display at the markets.

If we peeked inside your studio, what would be the first thing we’d notice?

The enormous amount of various fabric yardage I have! It takes over nearly a whole wall in my small apartment.

What's the best meal you've had in the past year?

Ha – haven’t had the chance to eat at a restaurant in the last two months for obvious reasons. But we got the happy hour combo as take out from Grizzelda’s and it was delicious queso (my absolute favorite), guacamole and margaritas!

Stranded on a desert island - If you could only have one book, movie, and album what would they be?

I love the book THE DRIFTERS by James Michener! I can’t choose one movie, but if I HAD to choose it would be Sixteen Candles or Star Wars or the entire Schitt’s Creek series (cheating on several levels here, I know).
